Do I have to pay a booking fee?
Although I do not require a booking fee in most instances, a deposit could be required in specific circumstances, i.e. (where an appointment outside the Brisbane Metro area or at long distance i.e Gold Coast / North Coast area is requested)
How do I cancel a booking?
Best to give me a call or email. We can always re-arrange a time that suits you.
Can you do casts at our home/location, is there an extra charge?
Yes, we can do casts at your home or preferred location. Although most of our casting is done mobile, you are welcome to visit my home/workshop. Generally there is no extra charge for home/location appointments within the Metro area. Charges would be required outside this area however for additional costs which may incur toll fees /travel time. We can discuss your requirements upon your enquiry

Can I get a refund after the moulding procedure has been completed?
Once the mould has be made there are no refunds. Following the moulding procedure the stone cast is poured within an hour or so of the moulding appointment. After about 4 - 6 hours the cast is de-moulded and additional time is spent preparing the cast for curing. At this stage your cast is essentially finished as a stand alone item.
How soon can I have my cast?
Our Stone Casts (unlike plaster) can take up to 4 weeks or more in colder months to completely cure. Summertime can be 2 to 3 weeks. Smaller casts allow about 2 weeks. Once your cast has been de-moulded we will send you a photo of your piece to keep you updated.
Can I change my mind on the base, it's finish or frame originally ordered?
There's no problem in changing your mind on the base you have originally selected unless you have ordered a custom type wood where an order has been placed by us with our suppliers. Generally I use 'off the shelf' shadow frames for babies/toddlers and in some cases make custom frames to suit the requirements of the cast size as professional framing firms can be quite expensive for custom work. Alternatively, you can supply your own frame.
How do I get my cast once it's ready?
It can be collected from my home at Chermside West. Please let me know if you would like me to personally deliver your cast to you, subject to the location. As a last option although not recommended would be to arrange a Courier Service. This option would need to be pre-paid. Personally I prefer to meet with you and share your first viewing of your cast.
Is any of my personal information shared?
Under no circumstances will any of your personal details, name, address, phone number or email be shared with a 3rd party. All payments via credit card or eftpos are done via encryption. This helps protect the confidentiality of digital data either stored on computer systems or transmitted through a network like the Internet. We reserve the right to share an image of your final cast for possible display online or offline. In the event of a memorial cast we always seek permission out of respect. For personal reasons should you prefer that we do not use your cast image please let me know and your request will be honoured,
Do you do hand or feet casts or impressions or for toddlers or babies?
Yes. Although I specialise in mounted 3D castings on Walnut and Mahogany bases we can do framed displays for infants. There are several organisations in the Brisbane area that specialise in Baby/Infant framed casts that can offer a wider range of options than I do.
